Recycled

Midland Recyclers

Greendale Twp is offering Recycling to all Township residents, provided by Midland Recyclers.  There are an assortment of carts arranged at the Twp Hall for convenient drop off of recyclable materials at your convenience.  Please be sure that all materials are clean and sort them into the proper bins.  Take the caps off all bottles, it may surprise you that closed bottles, even rinsed, can really stink!

This service will cost the Township 80.00 per week for pick-up of the recyclable materials, so be sure to recycle as much as you can.  Recycling saves dumping charges at the Landfill by reducing the amount of material dumped in the Landfill and helps the environment.

Midland Recyclers has provided a brochure with information on the allowable materials and some services they provide at their collection site.  That information follows or can be reviewed at their website at  http://www.midlandrecyclers.org/

WHAT IS the mission of MIDLAND RECYCLERS?
“To inspire the community to make a positive impact on the environment by providing the means and know how to reuse and recycle.”

HOW IS MIDLAND RECYCLERS DIFFERENT FROM CURBSIDE RECYCLING?
Your city or township contracts with Republic Waste or Waste Management to pick up and process curbside recycling. Midland Recyclers is a non-profit 501c3 organization serving the Great Lakes Bay Region for over 31 years.

MIDLAND RECYCLERS ACCEPTS “HARD TO RECYCLE” ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RECYCLED AT CURBSIDE.
