Greendale Township | Official Public Notice | June 2026
Importance of Filling Out the Payment Stub
Filling Out the Top Portion of Your Tax Stub
The top section of the tax bill has a dotted line and can be torn off for your convenience. This top portion is called the tax stub. Please submit this tax stub with your payment. The property owner needs to complete this section each time a payment is submitted. It is important to fill out this section when you submit a payment so the township has your current contact details. This helps us contact you quickly if there is a question about your payment, parcel identification, or account status. When submitting a payment by check, please write the check number on the tax stub. This helps us match your payment to the correct parcel and reference it if there is a question about bank deposits.
There is no need to write the check amount unless you are paying less than the balance due. There is also no need to fill out the date section on the stub. The date on your check serves as the official payment date.
We are currently working on a permanent system to securely store this information. In the future, you will only need to update the stub if your contact details change. Until that system is in place, please continue to complete the top portion for each payment. Another notice will be posted when the township determines the best way to store resident information. We are also working with our software company to transfer prior tax-year resident contact information into the new tax season.
Your cooperation helps us process payments faster, reduce errors, and keep township records accurate.
